Inter-religious Dialogue
Sameeksha organizes regular programmes of inter-religious harmony. On every Second Saturday of the month there is a dialogue seminar (Dharmasameeksha), from 10. am till 03 pm. This is in Malayalam. On a live issue or classical Scripture a sage presents a well-studied paper. Discussion follows. This is open to all. Theological and Spiritual Formation of the Laity
Sameeksha offers regular programmes for the theological and spiritual formation of laywomen/men. A two-year programme leading to Certificate in Theology by Jnana Deepa Vidyapeeth, Pune, takes place at Sameeksha from 2000 (Jnanasameeksha). Every month the participants come for three days of intensive study of a particular theological topic. With 25 credits covering two years the become eligible for the Certificate. This course in Malayalam is open to laywomen/men. Besides every month there is a silent guided retreat for the laity according to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius (Dhyanasameeksha). Life-orientation Programmes for Teenagers
Atmamitra, at Sameeksha offers competent services to teenagers, who are heavily under the pressure of the modern media. Training programmes with psychological skills, personal counseling and life-orientation programmes are offered at Sameeksha as well as in schools and colleges. Service to Migrant Labourers
Jeevika functioning at Sameeksha is a centre for involvements in the life-issues of the migrant labourers. Kerala has over 3 million workers from other states. They often land up in crisis situations, One Jesuit with his team gets involved in helping them to sosrt out the problems, get proper remmuneration for their job and due compensation for ailments and accidents.
